History:
Fort Wayne Rocks, Inc. (FWR) was founded in 1999 when its two owners, Craig Goode and Tim Owen, decided to start selling stone out of the back of a pick-up truck for weekend play money. Driving to local quarries and hand-stacking pallets on a flat bed trailer developed into a daily routine. Soon the demand for more and more locally quarried stone, as well as natural stone products from other areas of the country gave the two a blossoming business idea: selling rocks for a living!

Incorporated in 2000, FWR has developed into Northeastern Indiana's foremost authority for natural stone products, carrying stone from over a dozen different states, and, owning its own quarry as of January, 2007. At the peak of the building and landscape season FWR employs nearly 20 people, and currently delivers stone with its own fleet of trucks in 6 states. Another first for FWR in 2007 was the beginning of its overseas stone import business, bringing in Cottswald Stone from England.
