Building Stone

Veneer Stone:
Any natural stone used as a decorative facing material which is not meant to be load bearing. Stone veneers are used to cover any interior or exterior wall, come in a variety of styles and are installed through masonry applications.

Veneer Stone typically comes in two forms:
-Full Veneer: 3" - 5" in thickness
(intended for use in vertical applications, requires structural support, and typically needs to be included in the planning phase of a project before construction begins)

-Thin Veneer: 3/4" - 1 1/2" in thickness
(intended for use in the same capacity as all full veneer stone applications, as well as a variety of other conditions where full veneer is not an option such as new and/or existing buildings when the structural support and depth required for full veneer is either limited or not an option; certain thin veneer products can be used horizontally as well as vertically, has the versatility to be added to a project after construction has started)
